Totally agree Dave. I remember the 70s and 80s as well - the coming Ice age due to plant food. New York to be under water by 1995 (how that squared with the coming Ice Age was never explained). I guess the next phase is to link the climate thingy with a virus (zoonotic, but in fact released from one of the 300 or so biolabs in various parts of the world) and declare an emergency for both climate and a virus.
